How is the chance score calculated?

It multiplies three things for your place: the chance of aurora activity (NOAA OVATION and Kp forecasts plus live solar wind), how clear the sky is (hourly cloud cover from Apple Weather) and how dark it is (sun and moon positions). A high Kp alone is not enough if it is cloudy or bright.

Why does the camera score differ?

Phone cameras see faint aurora that looks grey or invisible to the eye. The camera score shows the chance that it shows up in a photo.

I did not get an alert

Check that alerts are on in the app and that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings. Alerts are sent only when it is dark and clear enough. iOS decides how often apps refresh in the background, so keep the app in the app switcher on active nights.

Restore or cancel a subscription

Use Settings > Restore purchases in the app. To cancel, open iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
